Free radicals may sound like your next favourite alt band, but they’re far from rad… Actually they’re pretty terrible.
What Are Free Radicals?
Free radicals are the byproduct of natural biochemical reactions in the human body. Essentially, the body's most common activities, such as metabolic processes and immune system responses, create these highly reactive atoms that have unpaired electrons. That’s the danger of them–unpaired electrons can and will react with other cells in the human body by trying to steal their electrons in a process called oxidation. This leads to the premature degeneration and potential death of cells in our body through an inflammatory response, which leads to visible aging amongst various illnesses. Free radicals can be caused by anything, from the air you breath to the food you eat as your body must process all of these things.
Now, this sounds really scary, but this means that us, as a species, have developed natural ways of dealing with ‘em. And many humans, as scientists, have found ways to get ahead of these oxidizing buggers - with antioxidants.
Super Maqui™ Lends An Electron
For those of you who have forgotten, an unpaired electron goes its whole life wanting to be a part of something a little more neutral. So, it’s always on the hunt to pair up. Now, it’s important to note that this need is also its weakness. This is where Super Maqui Plus™ comes into the picture. As a powerful antioxidant, the molecules are stable enough to donate an election to these free radicals and effectively neutralize them before they cause a chain reaction. By introducing a regular supply of antioxidants to your diet, you supply your body with an army of molecules ready to fight any build-up of free radicals before they wreak havoc on your system.
Since this type of oxidation is a byproduct of being alive, regular use of Super Maqui Plus™ will help neutralize current build ups as well as prevent new ones from forming. But, as much as Super Maqui™ can help, there are things you can do to make its job even easier.
Preventing Build-Up
While eating foods rich in antioxidants is important, so is eating a balanced diet, exercising regularly, and ensuring you’re well hydrated. Free radicals are produced more frequently when the body has to work harder to process what you’re putting into it so avoiding regular eating of junk food is probably a good idea (but sometimes you gotta treat yo self, amirite?)
Free radicals might be scary, but the purple berry is here to neutralize the negativity. (Get it, because electrons have a negative charge - oh forget it).
