In 2008 Amanda opened SKN, the first esthetics clinic in Canada to merge eastern medicine with leading-edge skin care. It became a destination for clients seeking a heartfelt experience and non-invasive treatments—with real results. As a holistic skin-care expert, Amanda created a line of products merging natural and active ingredients. Despite the success of her business, Amanda was left with a sense of emptiness and she embarked on a personal quest that led to several journeys to South and Central America and two years of study with two shamanic masters. Her spiritual work clarified her life’s purpose: to promote self-love. This is what helped her launch Forget Beauty. Forget Beauty is created from Amanda’s decade as a holistic skin-care expert and her deep understanding of the vulnerability underneath the human quest for beauty. The result is a community that celebrates self-love in all its forms.
